Arctic Summer Nightwalk

A dreamlike journey into the heart of a nightless night. Imagine walking through a misty forest where the sun never sets. High above the treeline in Finnish Lapland, Riisitunturi National Park opens up in all directions – and the views are bathed in the ethereal light of the midnight sun. In this arctic wonder, the sun simply touches the horizon at midnight and keeps going, never disappearing.

This private guided walk takes you into the serene beauty of a Lapland summer night – where silence speaks, and nature glows. You’ll wander through ancient spruce forests, climb to the fell-top, and breathe in the peacefulness of a world that doesn’t sleep. Your guide shares stories of northern nature, culture, and life, before you enjoy wildberry juice and night snacks by the soft crackle of a campfire.

It’s quiet, magical, and unforgettable.

Why You'll Love It:

  • Peace and light of the Lapland midnight sun

  • 360° panoramic views from the fell

  • A private, unhurried experience – just you and the northern wild

  • Connect with nature in a slow, soulful way

  • Nature stories and cultural insights from your local guide

Our destination is on top of the fell in Riisitunturi National Park. This experience is also possible in Oulanka National Park or Valtavaara Nature Reserve.
