Located in northeastern Finland, Oulanka National Park is one of the country's most famous protected areas and a must-visit destination for nature lovers. Established in 1956, the park covers over 270 square kilometres of pristine forests, deep river valleys, hanging bridges and powerful white-water rapids.

Oulanka is internationally known for its unique combination of northern and southern plant species, crystal-clear rivers and spectacular scenery. The park lies on the border between the northern boreal forest and the Arctic region, creating exceptional biodiversity found nowhere else in Finland.

Little Bear's Trail ( Pieni Karhunkierros)

Distance: 12 km

Little Bear's Trail is Finland's most popular hiking trail, attracting visitors from around the world.

The circular route combines everything that makes Oulanka famous:
