Learn how to navigate by the stars and hear tales of mythological heroes racing across the heavens. Find your zodiac sign, spot the brightest star, and discover its many names in Arabic, Greek, and Sámi. You’ll even see a star more than 600 times larger than our sun and light that has traveled 640 years to meet your gaze. But there’s more—did you know the origin of the Finnish people is written in the stars? On this journey, we’ll reveal this celestial secret while walking in one of the most beautiful places you’ll ever see.

 

This is not just a stargazing adventure—it’s also an easy, enjoyable snowshoe walk through stunning Arctic landscapes. Depending on the snow conditions it is possible to join without snowshoes and follow the packed trail with ice crampons/cleats.

If the Northern Lights decide to join us, it’s the perfect time to lie back on a cozy reindeer hide, sip warm wildberry juice, and marvel at their dance in the sky.

Tour Highlights:

• Learn about constellations, zodiac signs, and star stories from around the world and especially north.

• Walk up to 2 km in snowy landscapes (depending on snow conditions it is possible to walk on the trail with your own shoes).

• Enjoy traditional hot wildberry juice under the Arctic night sky.

• Chance to see the Northern Lights.

• Duration: 2 hours

• Distance: 2 km, or more if you feel like zigzagging through the deep snow!

• Group Size: Minimum 4 persons. If the group size isn’t met by 6 pm the previous day, the tour will be canceled, and you’ll receive a full refund.
